A musical project created by Keith Rollins, a Black American singer-songwriter born in the heartland of the United States, Reverend (to preach) Doctor (to heal) is about carrying a message of love and celebration as far and wide as their voice may reach.
Rooted in the likes of Marvin Gaye, Ed Sheeran, and Leon Bridges – Reverend Doctor’s relentlessly optimistic music tells inspirational stories from their own life and creates community wherever their music is heard. Their story is everyone’s story: victory, loss, struggle, but marked by the decision to encourage others on a musical escapade across the world.
Traveling the country with nothing but their guitar and trusty looper pedal, The Good Doctor’s show is small but mighty. They now borrow from their blues roots of the bayou, funk that healed the world, along with R&B, pop, and rock — It results in an upbeat sound that will make you dance, or simply bring a smile to your face.
